That the Parliament celebrates the success of the West Highlands Free Press in being named Newspaper of the Year at the Highlands and Islands Media Awards; understands that the annual awards recognise the high quality of media coverage across the Highlands and Islands; notes that West Highlands Free Press team columnist, Angus Peter Campbell, also picked up the award for Gaelic Writer of the Year on the night; understands that judges praised the newspaper for the strength of its reporting and its weekly news and feature content; congratulates Angus and the rest of the team at the West Highland Free Press for their success, and wishes them all the very best going forward.
