That the Parliament congratulates the staff on Forth Valley Royal Hospital’s mental health wards on their recent award for patient care; recognises that staff on both Ward 2 and Ward 3 have been awarded accreditation status by the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCP) for their commitment to delivering high-quality care; understands that Forth Valley Royal Hospital has become the third mental health facility in Scotland to receive such accredited status; further understands that, to achieve this status, the staff within the wards had to provide evidence of fulfilment of over 300 standards to ensure that they demonstrated the required commitment to delivering high-quality care and treatment for their patients; notes that, alongside the RCP accreditation, NHS Forth Valley also received a commendation from NHS Education for Scotland, highlighting the positive experiences that trainees have had developing on the wards to deliver such services; congratulates Forth Valley Royal Hospital, and all its staff, for their hard work in achieving this RCP accreditation, and wishes them all the best for the future.
