That the Parliament congratulates Fraser Weir, a former Scottish Open champion from Grangemouth, on his selection to represent Scotland at the FootGolf World Cup; understands that the FootGolf World Cup will be held in May 2023, with over 1,500 FootGolfers from all over the world competing in the 10-day event in Orlando, Florida; notes that while Fraser has represented Scotland previously in various sporting events, including the high jump and triple jump, this is his first time representing Scotland at a world cup; believes that during the most recent Scotland tour, those with an interest in qualifying for the FootGolf World Cup competed for a place in the first team, which saw Fraser win a Fight for the Flight event, giving him automatic qualification for the squad; understands that Scotland was recently accepted as an official governing body by the Federation for International FootGolf, opening up the opportunity for the team to represent Scotland at what it considers this major tournament, and wishes Fraser all the best for the upcoming tournament.
