That the Parliament commends Elaine Slaven for her fundraising efforts on behalf of the British Heart Foundation; understands that she again organised a beautiful Christmas-themed garden light display at her home in Coatbridge; understands that her garden is on a prominent and well-used road in the town and that the display is likely to bring festive joy to many people as they pass it, whether by road or by foot; notes that Ms Slaven had a small collection box on her gate enabling people to make a donation if they wanted to; recognises what it sees as the vital importance of the British Heart Foundation, which has been funding pioneering research into heart and circulatory diseases since 1961; understands that the charity's work is especially dear to Ms Slaven; applauds Ms Slaven for all the hard work that went into creating the stunning display, wishes her well, and looks forward to future displays.
