That the Parliament congratulates Kinnoull Parish Church in Perth, which has arranged for special events to take place in their hall every Tuesday and Thursday for the foreseeable future, where older residents can go for warmth, company and something to eat and drink throughout the day; notes that the aim of the initiative is to help older members of the public, who are perhaps struggling to meet their food and energy bills, or are living on their own, or wish to engage in conversation with a friendly face; further notes that the events have been made possible thanks to a grant awarded to Bridgend Gannochy and Kinnoull Community Council from Perth and Kinross Council’s recently announced cost of living fund, and wishes Kinnoull Parish Church all the best with the project and best wishes for the future.
