That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen City Council for receiving the Best Practice Award at the Net-Zero Energy Transition Awards 2022; notes that this award celebrates a company or individual who has gone above and beyond to implement an initiative to achieve exemplary health, safety, environmental and quality improvements; understands that this was awarded due to Aberdeen City Council’s Climate Change Plan, which has brought together more than 100 projects, from new electric and hydrogen vehicles to a programme expanding green infrastructure, to both reduce the city’s carbon footprint and increase climate and nature resilience, and wishes all at Aberdeen City Council all the best for the future.
