That the Parliament congratulates the Smoking Goat Bar and Grill, in Ayr, on winning Scotland’s Best Independent Bar of the Year at the Scottish Entertainment Awards 2022; recognises the hard work of owner, David Storrie, and his staff to make the Academy Street venue a welcoming and friendly place; acknowledges what it sees as the great effort made to transform the venue, which it understands David purchased in December 2019; notes that it was also nominated for Best Burger and Best Pub, and wishes David and the staff every success for the future.
