As an amendment to motion S5M-12358 in the name of Liz Smith (Education: Subject Choices), after "local authorities to" insert "recognise and promote the equal importance of both academic and vocational routes through school and into work, further and higher education, place greater emphasis on the objectives of the Commission for Developing Scotland's Young Workforce, maximise subject choice, including through addressing structural barriers, and".
