To ask the Scottish Government what guidance it provides to local authorities regarding the transport of looked after children.
Answer
There are a variety of different guidance documents in force which include reference to transport of children for a range of different scenarios. Local Authorities are responsible for these arrangements and develop appropriate protocols to ensure their duties in this regard are met.

To ask the Scottish Government what its position is on preparing an updated Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance appraisal on the reopening of a (a) Bonnybridge Lower and (b) Bonnybridge Upper railway station.
Answer
Transport Scotland officials have provided advice and support to Falkirk council regarding the requirement to produce a transport appraisal, in line with Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance, to demonstrate the need for a transport intervention at Bonnybridge.
