To ask the Scottish Government how many one bedroom (a) affordable homes and (b) affordable homes for social rent have been (i) started, (ii) approved and (iii) completed in each year since 2007 and how many are planned.
Answer
Information on approvals, site starts and completions for the Affordable Housing Supply Programme is not held centrally by number of bedrooms.
Future planning is a strategic decision for local authorities, meeting needs identified through housing need and demand assessments, local housing strategies and strategic housing investment plans. Discussions are currently underway with local authorities to finalise three-year strategic local programmes.

To ask the Scottish Government whether the new police service will support a traffic education programme.
Answer
The Police Service in Scotland has supported a number of traffic education programmes over the years with a view to raising awareness and improving safety for road users, both at local and national levels. A prime example supported by all existing Scottish forces is the National Driver Improvement Scheme, which offers drivers charged with careless driving, and who meet agreed criteria, an opportunity to undertake training as an alternative to being prosecuted through the courts.
A final decision on which education programmes are supported in the future, will be a matter for the Chief Constable of the Police Service of Scotland in consultation where appropriate with the Lord Advocate or others.

To ask the Scottish Government what percentage of emergency arrivals was admitted, discharged or transferred within four hours in each (a) NHS board and (b) accident and emergency unit in each year since 2007.
Answer
Information on the percentage of attendances (new and unplanned returns) that were seen within four hours by NHS board and by accident and emergency site has been placed in the Scottish Parliament Information Centre (Bib 54190). This information is shown by financial year, from 2008-09 to 2011-12. Information for 2007-08 is not included as a full year's worth of data is not available (the accident and emergency data mart was established in June 2007 to monitor compliance against waiting times targets).

To ask the Scottish Government how many emergency arrivals were not admitted, discharged or transferred for at least 12 hours in each (a) NHS board and (b) accident and emergency unit in each year since 2007.

To ask the Scottish Government how many emergency arrivals were not admitted, discharged or transferred for at least eight hours in each (a) NHS board and (b) accident and emergency unit in each year since 2007.
Answer
Tables 1 and 2 represent the number of attendances (new and unplanned returns) that were not seen within eight hours by NHS board and by accident and emergency (A&E) site. Table 2 excludes any accident and emergency site where there were no attendances not seen within eight hours between 2008-09 and 2011-12. Information for 2007-08 is not included as a full year's worth of data is not available (the accident and emergency data mart was established in June 2007 to monitor compliance against waiting times targets).
