To ask the Scottish Government how it plans to promote the use of social impact investment partnerships.
Answer
The Scottish Government welcomes the innovative approach that Perth YMCA has adopted to securing investment from local businesses and individuals for the living Balance Project. Perth YMCA has used this experience to develop a social impact investment partnership framework that can be used by other projects across Scotland.
The Scottish Government, along with Big Lottery Fund Scotland, has provided some resources towards the development of guidance and templates which can be used by other partners keen to test social impact investment models.
