To ask the Scottish Government how many general dental service dentists were employed by the NHS in September (a) 2006, (b) 2007, (c) 2008, (d) 2009, (e) 2010, (f) 2011, (g) 2012 and (h) 2013, and what the change was over this period expressed as a percentage.

The following table shows the number of salaried general dental service dentists employed by NHS Scotland from September 2006 to 2013. The table shows the actual and percentage change for the whole period.
