Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S3W-31087 by Stewart Stevenson on 4 February 2010, whether it considers that an application for funding for projects under the Regulatory Asset Base can be made at any time and, if so, how this relates to the statement of the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change on 20 January 2010 (Official Report c. 22913) that “The Office of Rail Regulation provided a determination that accounts for all the spending of the regulated asset base up to 2014”.
