To ask the Scottish Executive from which budget its £5 million contribution to the proposed 50-metre swimming pool in Aberdeen will come.
Answer
All Scottish Government funding for sport is routed through sportscotland and once an application has been considered, the award will be made from sportscotland''s Sports Facilities Fund. I am pleased that this process has now begun following Aberdeen City Council''s recent submission of a Stage 1 application.
