Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Executive whether the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Cities Strategy is aware that all four of the applications made for Ipilimumab under the individual patient treatment request system have been turned down; whether this is in conflict with the Scottish Government’s policy on access to cancer medicines, and whether the drug will be made available to NHS patients following the Scottish Medicines Consortium's appraisal on 3 April 2012.
