To ask the Scottish Executive whether the costs associated with meeting equal pay obligations will be included in monitoring and reviewing the concordat with COSLA and local authorities.
Answer
Through the oversight arrangements it has put in place to monitor and review the concordat, the Scottish Government is in regular contact with COSLA on a range of issues including the financial pressures, such as equal pay obligations, facing local authorities.

To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S3W-8582 by Shona Robison on 28 January 2008, when updated statistics on the percentage of mothers recorded as breastfeeding at their six-to-eight-week review in (a) NHS Tayside and (b) Scotland will be published.
Answer
Information on breastfeeding rates at the six-to-eight-week review are published on the ISD Scotland website under Child Health at
www.isdscotland.org/child_breastfeeding and are updated annually in May. The latest published statistics are for children born in 2007 and these are available for the 11 NHS board areas that participate in the Child Health Systems Programme - Pre-School system, including NHS Tayside.

To ask the Scottish Executive what the initial revenue allocation to NHS Tayside will be in 2009-10 according to the NHS Scotland Resource Allocation Committee’s (NRAC) target initial allocation.
Answer
The target initial allocation to NHS Tayside for 2009-10 according to the NHS Scotland Resource Allocation Committee (NRAC) is that they should receive 7.84% of the total allocation due to territorial boards. For 2009-10, this would be £568 million out of the £7,247.9 million made available to territorial boards.
The actual allocation made to NHS Tayside for 2009-10 was £578.6 million.

To ask the Scottish Executive what the average rent has been in the registered social landlord sector in (a) Dundee and (b) Angus in the last two years for which information is available.
Answer
Statistics on Registered Social Landlords are published by the Scottish Housing Regulator. The most up to date information on average rents is provided through their Annual Performance and Statistical Returns, which show the average weekly housing association rents for Dundee City and Angus for 2006-07 and 2007-08 as:

Data on the number of people who have died from colorectal cancer are available by NHS board and year (1985 to 2007) on the Information Services Division website. The latest year for which cancer mortality data are complete is 2007.

The Grant Planning Target (GPT) is allocated at the beginning of each financial year to individual Housing Associations for all relevant elements of the Affordable Housing Investment Programme (AHIP).

Data on the number of people diagnosed with bowel (colorectal) cancer are available by NHS board and year (1980 to 2005) on the Information Services Division website:

The latest year for which cancer registration data are complete is 2005.
