To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on the distribution of and costs associated with Scotland’s Future: Your Guide to an Independent Scotland.
Information relating to the distribution and costs associated with Scotland’s Future: Your Guide to an Independent Scotland was released in answer to parliamentary question S4W-20080 on 11 March 2014. Scotland’s Future: Your Guide to an independent Scotland has been available to order at no cost to individuals in hard copy or digital formats since its launch in November 2013. Reprints of Scotland’s Future were undertaken in response to unprecedented demand from the public and, in total, 80,000 copies were printed.
Latest available figures show that over 165,000 copies of the white paper have been ordered. As at 3 December 2014, 91,102 copies of Scotland’s Future have been downloaded in digital format and 75,386 have been distributed as a hard copy. All copies issued to members of the public were in response to a request from that individual.
