Decisions on Taking Business in Private

Good morning and welcome to the 15th meeting in 2009 of the Local Government and Communities Committee. As usual, I ask members and the public to turn off all mobile phones and BlackBerrys.

Do members agree to take item 3, which is consideration of our approach to an inquiry into local government finance, in private?

Members indicated agreement.

Do members also agree to consider in private at future meetings our draft report on equal pay in local government?

Members indicated agreement.
