Decision on Taking Business in Private

Good morning, colleagues, and welcome to the Education and Culture Committee’s third meeting in session 4. I remind members and anybody else who is present that mobile phones and other electronic devices should be switched off and not just turned to silent, as they interfere with the sound system. We have received apologies from Liam McArthur and I hope that Clare Adamson will be here shortly.

I hope that all members have had a pleasant recess and are ready to return to the new session.

Under agenda item 1, do members agree to take in private item 3, which is consideration of the committee’s work programme?
