Decision Time

There are two questions to be put as a result of today's business. The first question is, that amendment S3M-252.1, in the name of David McLetchie, which seeks to amend motion S3M-252, in the name of Richard Lochhead, on the Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c) Amendment (No 2) (Scotland) Regulations 2007, be agreed to.

Amendment agreed to.

The next question is, that motion S3M-252, in the name of Richard Lochhead, on the Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c) Amendment (No 2) (Scotland) Regulations 2007, as amended, be agreed to.

Motion, as amended, agreed to.

Resolved,

That the Parliament agrees that the draft Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c) Amendment (No 2) (Scotland) Regulations 2007 be approved and, in so doing, requests the Scottish Government to invite Her Majesty's Government to consider complementary legislative measures to protect environmentally sensitive sites such as the Firth of Forth.
