That the Parliament congratulates P6 and P7 pupils at Abbey Primary School in Kilwinning for their creative contributions to local sustainability by designing and painting bird boxes to help encourage wildlife into private gardens; recognises the wider sustainability effort, which included creating bee bricks, bug hotels, and hedgehog highways; acknowledges the support of Taylor Wimpey’s local sustainability champion, Joseph Green, who provided an engaging talk on environmental efforts and selected winning bird box designs; welcomes the educational benefits of the initiative, which also included the donation of Ecotastic Activity books and a nature pack to the school, and commends the pupils and staff for promoting awareness of biodiversity and local environmental stewardship.
