Cumbernauld Report
The day began with a visit to New College Lanarkshire Cumbernauld Campus to meet with students in the Supported Learning Department, followed by a visit to Cumbernauld and Carbrain Hub to meet with staff, volunteers and service users.

Hazardous Substances Planning Common Framework
The framework was approved by portfolio Ministers across each of the four administrations and, on 26 March 2021, received approval from the JMC(EN) Ministers of all four nations.

Stage 1 Report on the Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Bill - Legal profession
The COPFS's evidence did not comment directly on how it would respond to the increased cost and time pressure of prosecuting the new offence. In oral evidence, its representative, Anne Marie Hicks said that-
...we will keep the situation under review and, if there is a need to ask the Scottish Government for further money to deal with it, we will do that as we do for other operational matters.iiiJustice Committee, Official Report, 6 June 2017, col. 26
In relation to judicial training, the Cabinet Secretary told the Committee that training on domestic abuse forms part of a new sentencer's induction and that refresher training is available throughout a judge's career.
