To ask the Scottish Executive whether doctors will be able to use patient community health index numbers to make claims for items of service. Currently, the Community Health Index (CHI) number cannot be used as the sole identifier when GPs are making claims for item of service payments.
To ask the Scottish Executive what criteria were applied in the decision to award the contract to operate the Glasgow-Tiree and Glasgow-Campbeltown air services. The mandatory criteria used in the award of the contract for the provision of the air service between Glasgow and Campbeltown/Tiree were as follows:financial capability of bidders;ability to meet operational requirements;compliance with regulatory and safety regime;compliance with Public Service Obligation Specification; andacceptance of Terms and Conditions of Contract.
Due to the multiplicity of tasks performed by nurses, drug workers and others working in prisons, it is not possible to be precise. Scottish Prison Service estimate that they spent about £6.5 million on drug treatment and case services in 1999-2000.
