Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the 19th meeting in 2020 of the Justice Committee. We have received apologies from Alasdair Allan MSP, who cannot be with us. In his place, we are joined by Annabelle Ewing, whom I welcome to the meeting and invite to declare any relevant interests.
I draw members’ attention to my declaration in the register of members’ interests, wherein they will note that I am a member of the Law Society of Scotland and hold a practising certificate, albeit that I am not currently practising.
