Food Glorious Food, Dalbeattie Day Centre Dishes out 5,000 Meals

That the Parliament commends the eight-strong members of staff at Dalbeattie Day Centre, Kirkcudbrightshire, who have been serving hot lunches to older residents in the area for more than a year now as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic, with more than 5,000 meals delivered to people's doors; notes their remarkable community spirit in providing this lifeline service; wishes the staff well for the future, and applauds the generosity of the Dalbeattie Bequest, which has donated a four-figure sum towards ensuring that the day centre’s future activities continue.
