Interests

Good morning and welcome to the 10th meeting in 2017 of the Equality and Human Rights Committee. I make the usual request that mobile phones are either switched off or put on to flight or silent mode. We have not received any apologies this morning, so we fully expect our colleague Alex Cole-Hamilton to be here.

Our first item is to welcome our new committee member, Gail Ross, and to ask her whether she has any interests to declare in relation to the work of the committee.

Thank you for the welcome, convener; it is good to be here. I am a board member of North Highland College, University of the Highlands and Islands, patron of Home-Start Caithness, and parliamentary liaison officer to the First Minister.
