Good morning and welcome to the second meeting in 2018 of the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee. I remind members of the audience to switch off any electronic devices, as they might affect the sound system.

I welcome Alex Rowley to his first Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee meeting and invite him to declare any interests that are relevant to the committee’s work.

I take this opportunity to thank David Stewart for his considerable contribution to the committee over the past 18 months. I am sure that I speak for all members of the committee in that regard. He has left us to join the Health and Sport Committee, and we all wish him well in that role.
