Decision on Taking Business in Private

Good morning and welcome to the Social Security Committee’s ninth meeting in 2016. I remind everyone to turn their mobile phones and other electronic devices to silent mode, as they interfere with the recording equipment. We have received an apology from Mark Griffin, who is unfortunately experiencing travel difficulties. We hope that he will be here shortly.

Agenda item 1 is a decision on whether to take business in private. Item 4 is consideration of evidence that we will hear today. Does the committee agree to take that item in private?
