Public Procurement (Amendment etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020
We move on to agenda item 3. The committee has been asked to consider a notification from the Scottish Government on the Public Procurement (Amendment etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020. Most of the regulations apply to England and Wales and not to Scotland; the parts of the instrument that are relevant to Scotland are those where the UK Government is seeking to retain direct European Union legislation with effect across the whole of the United Kingdom in relation to minor matters. The Scottish ministers will make a separate amending instrument in respect of the equivalent Scottish regulations.
Is the committee content for the issues to be dealt with by statutory instrument laid at Westminster?
