Opening More Doors Fundraising Success in Clackmannanshire

  • Submitted by: Alexander Stewart, Mid Scotland and Fife, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 14 July 2021
  • Motion reference: S6M-00668

That the Parliament welcomes the news of a recent Clackmannanshire fundraising group's virtual treasure trail event, which raised nearly £2,000 for three good causes in the area; understands that the local group, Opening More Doors, which raises funds for other charities, arranged the treasure trail, which was hidden at the café named Dam Good Coffee at Gartmorn Dam, which also held the prize giving ceremony; acknowledges that the money raised will go to Home-Start Clackmannanshire, the Ochils Mountain Rescue Team and Maggie's Forth Valley, and commends all at Opening More Doors and Dam Good Coffee, as well as everyone who generously donated for their sterling work for the benefit of the local community.
