Question
To ask the Scottish Government how many people were screened for lung cancer in (a) 2019, (b) 2020 and (c) 2021.
Answer
Prior to 29 September 2022, the UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) did not recommend screening for lung cancer. Therefore, there is currently no lung screening programme in Scotland or indeed data on the number of people who have been screened for lung cancer in Scotland.
