Kim Little Retires from International Football

That the Parliament acknowledges the retirement from international football of Kim Little, one of Scotland’s greatest ever players; notes that Kim, from Mintlaw, played 140 times for Scotland over 15 years, since her debut at the age of 16 in 2007, scoring 59 goals; recognises that Kim captained Team GB in Tokyo at her second Olympic Games and considers her to be one of the finest footballers from Scotland of this century; notes her pivotal role in helping the Scotland women’s team qualify for Euro 2017, its first ever major tournament, and the 2019 World Cup; applauds Kim for the 15 years of enjoyment and inspiration she has given while wearing a Scotland shirt to fans young and old; notes that Kim’s career that began with the Mintlaw Miracles now continues with her club, Arsenal, and wishes her well.
