Craig Michie Shortlisted for Poultry Farmer of the Year at Farmers Weekly Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Craig Michie, of Barra Bronzes, which is based near Oldmeldrum, who has been announced on the shortlist as a finalist in the category of Poultry Farmer of the Year at the Farmers Weekly Awards 2021; understands that free-range, slow-growing turkeys are the mainstay of Craig’s business, and that the business has a strong commitment to environmentally and socially sustainable production; recognises that over 3,000 birds will be grown this year on home-produced feed, naturally available seeds and insects from a biodiverse free-range system, and commends Craig and his wife Maria on their success and wishes them well.
