Diamond Celebrations for Irvine Couple

That the Parliament congratulates Irvine couple, Peter and Jenny Robertson, on celebrating their Diamond wedding anniversary; understands that the couple married in the Relief Church, Irvine, on the 16 June 1961, with their reception taking place in the Eglinton Arms; further understands that they received a card from the Queen, offering her congratulations; admires their love and commitment over 60 years of marriage, and wishes them every happiness for the years to come.
