That the Parliament welcomes Love Your Lungs Week, which is an annual awareness week created by Asthma UK and the British Lung Foundation and which runs from 21 to 27 June 2021; understands that one in five people are diagnosed with a lung condition at some point in their life and that respiratory diseases are one of the top three causes of death in the UK; considers that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused worry and anxiety for many people living with lung conditions, yet has also raised the profile and importance of respiratory health; believes that respiratory services, including rehabilitation, need to be restarted for the thousands of people in Scotland with a lung condition, and encourages people to love their lungs by living healthy and active lifestyles.
