That the Parliament recognises with regret that the Peterhead-based circus arts group, Modo: Circus With Purpose, will be closing in October 2020; notes the numerous spectacular large-scale public events that have been staged by Modo in North Aberdeenshire since 2007; acknowledges the significant benefits that it has brought to participating people and communities by creating participatory events that have celebrated community heritage and providing life-enhancing opportunities for young people to build their confidence, self-esteem and communication skills through circus arts, and pays tribute to Martin Danziger, his staff and volunteers, for their efforts to support and inspire young people over the last 13 years.
