That the Parliament praises the Hebridean Celtic Festival on producing a charity single to commemorate the postponed 2020 HebCelt Festival; understands that it is a cover of Runrig’s Only The Brave and features Colin MacLeod, Julie Fowlis, Rory Macdonald of Runrig and other Hebridean artists; commends HebCelt for committing all funds raised through the single’s release and additional fundraising initiatives to the Bethesda Hospice in Steòrnabhagh, Isle of Lewis; notes that the single is part of a wider programme to commemorate what was to be the festival’s 25th anniversary; acknowledges that the Seisean HebCelt/HebCelt Sessions also aired on the festival’s social media platforms from 15 to 19 July, and wishes the festival a successful event in 2021.
