Greenock Opticians Named Optician of the Year

  • Submitted by: Stuart McMillan, Greenock and Inverclyde, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 23 April 2024
  • Motion reference: S6M-12941

That the Parliament congratulates Greenock-based opticians, Reid Mackellar, on being named Optician of the Year at the Scottish Independent Retail Awards; understands that the business scooped the top prize after racking up the highest number of votes from the public; believes that this award reflects the opticians' focus on providing a great service to patients, as the staff themselves have said that they could not have achieved this accolade without the trust and loyalty of their customers; thanks Reid Mackellar for its commitment to improving people’s eye health in the Greenock and Inverclyde constituency, and wishes the business all the best for the future.
