That the Parliament notes that Benarty Community Council recently presented the Gordon Mackie Award for 2023; congratulates Shona Mackenzie, of Lochgelly, on being the award's first recipient; recognises that the Gordon Mackie Award is awarded in recognition of outstanding work to the local Benarty community for people who do not live in Benarty; understands that Shona was recognised for her years of support in organising and running events in Benarty as part of Benarty Events Group; commends what it sees as the work and dedication of Shona to the local community, and wishes her all the best for the future.
