  • Submitted by: Annabelle Ewing, Cowdenbeath, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 12 April 2024
  • Motion reference: S6M-12807

That the Parliament congratulates the Happy Days Club, in Kelty, on celebrating its 40th anniversary; understands that the club has become a well-known group for people who are housebound, older people and disabled people during this time; notes that the club provides companionship and entertainment for more than 120 people every week; recognises that the Club has recently moved to larger premises, from Maxwell Centre, Cowdenbeath to the Kelty Community Centre, to accommodate a greater number of attendees; understands that the volunteer team helps to keep the group running smoothly, and wishes it all the very best for the future.
