That the Parliament congratulates the Crossgates Play Area Association on the official opening of the new Windmillknowe Play Park, in Crossgates, on 16 March 2024; understands that the Crossgates Play Area Association was established in 2019 with a small group of local parents and grandparents who had a vision to create a new and exciting play park for the children of Crossgates; recognises that the group raised £170,000 to fund the new play park, including from local businesses, fundraising, Fife Council and the Muir Dean Trust; notes that the official opening was a fun day for all and included a visit from the ice cream van; thanks all those involved in the Crossgates Play Area Association that made this possible, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
