Scottish Indian Arts Forum Organises Successful Holi Celebrations in Edinburgh

That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Indian Arts Forum (SIAF) on organising the most vibrant and colourful Holi celebrations at Saughton Park, Edinburgh; understands that Holi is a Hindu festival, which celebrates the eternal love of Radha and Krishna, and involves smearing friends and family in bright colours; further understands that the event was attended by the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, MSPs Foysol Choudhury, Sandesh Gulhane and Sarah Boyack, Martyn Day MP, and the consul from the Consulate General of India, Edinburgh; acknowledges and appreciates SIAF for bringing the community together by organising various multicultural events throughout the year, and wishes SIAF well in future.
