National Lottery Funding for Kirkliston Children's Gala

That the Parliament congratulates Kirkliston Children's Gala Day Committee on being awarded £8,500 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund; understands that this funding will be put towards the creation of an exhibition in the community centre to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Gala in 2024; notes that this event aims to tell the story of the Gala's history through the displaying of memorabilia, including costumes, programmes, photographs, film, songs and activities; congratulates the festival on reaching its centenary, and wishes the organisers continued success.
