  • Submitted by: Jim Fairlie, Perthshire South and Kinross-shire, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 22 November 2023
  • Motion reference: S6M-11326

That the Parliament congratulates and celebrates Kinross-shire Youth Enterprise on securing £90,000 in lottery funding; understands that the funding will enable the youth charity to run a three-year programme, which will include drop-in study support sessions, a job club, cooking skills and life skills workshops, a youth band, woodwork and art, all of which will contribute positively to young people's mental health, wellbeing and employability skills; further understands that, since the Kinross-shire Youth Enterprise was formed in 2014, it has grown to provide support to over 360 young people, and has supported them to reach positive destinations, such as re-engaging with education, going to college or getting a job; commends all those who are involved in what it sees as this vital charity, and wishes them all the best for their future success.
