Joana Barron Named as Young Person Winner in Burntisland Community Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Joana Barron after being named as the Young Person winner at the Burntisland Community Awards 2023; understands that Joana was chosen as the winner of the Young Person award as she is at the forefront of voluntary service in the town, whether at the local foodbank or helping the very young Beavers to learn important life skills; further understands that Joana is also a very active first responder with Burntisland First Aid Services Trust and has been on the spot numerous times after various incidents, looking after people who have had fractures, dislocations or seizures; notes that Joana is also a member of the Burntisland and Kinghorn Rotary Club, having been previously named as a runner up in the Rotary Club’s Young Citizen Award; commends Joana for her community spirit, and wishes her all the best for the future.
