  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 06 December 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-07068

That the Parliament congratulates both teams who reached the final of the Loganair National Gaelic Schools’ Debate, which it understands was held in the Scottish Parliament on 30 November 2022; notes that the finalists were representing Portree High School and Sir E Scott School, with Portree High School winning this year’s competition; understands that this is the first time in three years that the competition has been able to be held due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021; recognises what it considers the hard work of teachers and pupils in all schools competing in the annual competition, and wishes all of this year’s competitors every success in their future endeavours.
