That the Parliament extends its gratitude to Minister John Harvey and Molly Harvey for their efforts in recovering the lost mural, Christ Feeding the People; understands that the acclaimed mural was painted in 1951, yet following a lengthy period in storage and exchanges between art dealers, the lost mural was traced to an owner in Canada in 2017; further understands that Pat Cassidy, of Govan Heritage Trust, described John and Molly Harvey's efforts to reclaim the mural as a "triumph", and understands that the mural remained temporarily on display until 19 June 2022 at Govan Old, and will return to Govan Old permanently at a later date.
