Cardross Parish Church Marks 150th Anniversary

That the Parliament recognises that the current Cardross Parish Church is 150 years old; congratulates Rev Maggie McArthur on welcoming the Rt Hon Lord Wallace, moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, for a celebratory lunch, also attended by members of the congregation, to mark the milestone; notes that a plaque was unveiled beside a tree planted to mark the anniversary, and congratulates the church for playing what it sees as a vital role in the village, including hosting Messy Church sessions for younger people locally and also taking pride in the area with a recent beach clean event.
