  • Submitted by: Jackie Baillie, Dumbarton, Scottish Labour.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 20 May 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-04487

That the Parliament recognises that Argyll and Bute Citizens Advice Bureau has been serving the community of Helensburgh and beyond for the last 20 years, having begun operations on 7 May 2002; understands that volunteers and staff have worked extremely hard during this period to provide help to citizens on a range of issues, including housing, benefits, work, debt and family concerns; notes that the service provides assistance by a variety of means, including face to face, over the phone, by email and by video call; thanks all the volunteers and staff who provide quality advice for local people, and wishes them every success for the future.
