Question
To ask the Scottish Government what it is doing to support children and young people transitioning to adult services for diabetes.
Answer
The Diabetes Improvement Plan contains a specific commitment to supporting children and young people to transition well from child to adult services. The Scottish Diabetes Group will establish projects to deliver this commitment in due course. The Scottish Diabetes Group will ensure any relevant principles from wider transitions work are incorporated into any diabetes-specific recommendations.
